Full spoilers follow for episode 7 of WandaVision!Breaking Through the Fourth Wall, which derived from simulated sitcoms like Modern Family and The Office, concludes by confirming the long-held theory that Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes is in fact Agatha Harkness, a witch from the Marvel comics. In a closing theme song, we show how Agatha was apparently responsible for much of the weirdness surrounding Wanda and her family, apparently including the creation or summoning of Evan Peters’ Pietro Maximoff.

The mid-credits scene appears to confirm Pietro’s bond with Agnes, as newly energized Monica Rambeau explores Agnes / Agatha’s house, discovers a mysterious vines-covered basement entrance – and is surprised by Pietro (who was absent for the episode) before she can enter.

Exactly what all this means is not entirely clear yet – but what is clear is that we should probably be tracking WandaVision’s credit streaks every week from now on.

As WandaVision draws to a close, you might be wondering what’s to come – well, there’s the ‘good old fun’ of The Falcon and Winter Soldier starting March 19, and there’s also a making-of documentary on WandaVision, Assembled coming March 12.
