Looks like Studio 6B is now inside The Hex.
On Wednesday’s episode of Tonight’s show, welcomes Jimmy Fallon and WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen has teamed up for a tribute to the Disney + series – great news for those of us who wanted to see Olsen play a few more retro characters before the series ended.
In the sketch below, a bit like in WandaVisionFallon goes through different eras of late-night television, with Olsen joining him each time to promote his latest project. (Everyone knows if The Boxcar girls and the Fellas of Tulum is streaming anywhere?) But as Tonight’s show moves through each decade, Olsen becomes increasingly suspicious of the circumstances of these interviews: why aren’t they and Fallon in the same room together? And if Fallon doesn’t have a live audience right now, where is all the laughter coming from?
Fallon may not be mourning the loss of his synthezoid mate, but it seems he has his own reasons to trap Tonight’s show in an old school bubble – and just like an episode of WandaVision would, the sketch ends with a major twist.
