Marvel fandom still shaking after jaw-dropping trial Scarlett johansson filed against Disney for Black Widowoutput model. If you haven’t been on the news lately, the Natasha Romanoff actress claims House of Mouse violated her contract which originally called for Black Widow to get an exclusive theatrical release. As most of you may already know, the film was released simultaneously through Disney + ‘s Premier Access, which affected the film’s box office ranking.
After the issue exploded, some fans questioned the silence of Scarlett’s other Marvel actors who have yet to express their support for their MCU co-star. However, WandaVisionElizabeth Olsen has made it clear that she supports Johansson’s decision to take legal action against the company.
In a recent Vanity Fair feature film, Olsen was asked about her reaction when she found out about Scarlett’s trial. According to the MCU star, she doesn’t care but made it clear that the actress has her support. She said: “I think she’s so tough and literally when I read I was like ‘good for you Scarlett’.”

I’m glad Olsen had the courage to speak out about the issue and support his former Marvel colleague when Scarlett’s co-stars were silent the entire time. On the flip side, I can’t help but worry that her own working relationship with Disney could be tarnished now that she has publicly announced that Johansson is backing her. I mean, no one dares get on the wrong side of Disney after all, so it’ll be interesting to see if Lizzie’s comments affect her relationship with House of the Mouse.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Olsen will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
