According to BBC, Aniston posted on her Instagram Story (which expires after 24 hours) in response to a user who asked her why she was so worried about being around the unvaccinated. “Because if you have the variant, you can always give it to me,” she posted on Thursday. “I can get mildly ill, but I won’t be admitted to the hospital and / or die. But I can give it to someone else who doesn’t have the vaccine and whose health is compromised (or has an existing disease) – and so I would put their life at risk.

The answer came after Aniston did an interview with In the style where she admitted to losing friends she saw regularly because of their refusal to be vaccinated. “There is always a large group of people who are anti-vaccine or just don’t listen to the facts. It is a real shame. I just lost a few people in my weekly routine who refused or didn’t disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and that was unfortunate. I think it is your moral and professional obligation to inform, as we are not all crammed and tested every day.

Aniston went on to explain that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fight against vaccines doesn’t look like something based on facts. “It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion – but a lot of opinions are based on nothing other than fear or propaganda.”

Twitter shared its support for Aniston and his decision to get people vaccinated.

Frankly, this is good practice, in my opinion. It’s not about how I can get sick. This is how I could potentially pass the virus on to those who are vulnerable because an unvaccinated person gave me the variants. Aniston not only protects themselves, but also those who are not eligible for the vaccine or at high risk even if they receive COVID while being vaccinated, and if you are unwilling to share your vaccination status, then just like Aniston does, I’m going to assume you’re not vaccinated and keep my distance.
