The coach of one of the horses involved in the controversy in the Kentucky Derby that led to the disqualification of Maximum Security and made Country House the winner expressed his anger on Tuesday.

Mark Casse, the War of Will coach, told the Courier-Journal that he thought the maximum safety jockey, Luis Saez, had intentionally blocked his horse and compared his race to a "drunk driver."

THE MAXIMUM SECURITY OWNER SAYS THAT IT IS SUSPENDED TO START THE KENTUCKY DERBY DQ AFTER THE CALL,

"I tried to handle it gently and calmly, and I did not think we had enough on our horse's trip," Casse told the newspaper. "Now, given some of the recent comments, I'm pissed off."

Casse's answer came after Maximum Security's owner, Gary West, accused War of Will of causing the problems. Maximum safety was disqualified after the stewards determined that the horse intentionally interfered with the passage of two other horses, including War of Will.

"He drove everyone on purpose, and then he plunged into it," Casse told the Courier-Journal. "It's almost like I'm following a drunk driver. You do not know in which direction he will go. … People were shooting at Tyler telling him that he should have gone inside or out. It really pissed me off. I went back and I watched the whole race and I noticed that we were disturbed, not only during the main event, but that we were gathered before that. "

War of Will is expected to participate in Preakness on May 18, while Maximum Security and Country House are expected to miss the event.
