Fisher-Price warns parents with Fisher-Price rock after several reports of infant deaths related to the use of the product.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, at least 10 infants died after rolling their backs against the stomach or side while they were not tied to the scales. All infants were three months old or older.

As deaths continue to occur, CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the product at three months of age or as soon as the infant has reversal capabilities. CPSC has already warned consumers to use restraints in children's sleep products.
Fisher-Price warns consumers not to use the product when infants can turn around, but reported deaths show that some consumers still use it when infants are able to roll without using the three-point safety harness.

CPSC and Fisher-Price remind consumers to create a safe sleeping environment for infants, whether they use a cradle, cradle, playground, or recliner bed: never add blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, or other articles to the environment sleeping on the back.
