Yes Eli Manning never play another down in the NFL, his next stop is Canton … he says Warren Moon, who tells TMZ Sports The New York Qi are 100% a Hall of Famer.
The G-Men just announced Manning will be mount the pine as a rookie Daniel Jones takes over early in Week 3 … sparking a debate over whether Eli will be considered one of the greatest players of all time when he will qualify this career career.
Moon – who was inducted into the Hall in 2006 – says they'd better start taking the measures of Manning's jacket now … since there's no reason for that to happen. he does NOT come.
"I think it's based on his numbers and what he's able to do as a team," Moon said to the guys at TMZ Sports' TV show. , aired Tuesday night on FS1.
"He has definitely put together a career worthy of the Hall of Fame."
FYI – Manning recorded an 8th loss (362) and a 7th loss (56,537). And, oh yes … 2 Super Bowls do not hurt either.
"I just watched his work … and he won the championships, which is very important for voters when you enter this room," adds Moon.
"He has two and he has been the most valuable player in both games, which bodes well for him."
