For a game and a half of the NBA 2019 finals, it seemed like the Toronto Raptors were the best team. Then the first six minutes of the third quarter of the second match came.

The Golden State Warriors scored the first 18 points of the second half and held Toronto at arm's length quite easily. The victory of the Warriors 109-104 sends the series to Oakland tied at one game each.

The Raptors followed at 12: 5:39, but reduced that deficit to two with only 27 seconds to play with a three-pointer from Danny Green. They almost flown the ball into the next possession, but the Warriors retrieved it and Andre Iguodala hit a three-pointer with six seconds left to seal the win.

DeMarcus Cousins, who made his first start since injury in the second game of the first round, earned 11 points and 10 rebounds. After a slow start, Steph Curry finished with 23 points. Klay Thompson was 25, but he was injured after failing awkwardly on a three point attempt in the fourth quarter and did not return.

The warriors said Thompson had left hamstring oppression. Fortunately for him, both teams will have two days off before the series resumes with match 3 Wednesday night.
