Warzone parachute absurd bug ruins landings

Warzone players have revealed a feature they really want to add to Call of Duty’s battle royale title – and it’s copied straight from its main competitors, Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Fortnite was perhaps the greatest game to ever exist in its heyday, popularizing the battle royale genre to millions and millions of fans around the world.

This sparked a huge wave of new BR games, including Apex Legends which remains very popular to this day and of course Warzone.

That said, while the games are all different, they have several similarities and aren’t afraid to take ideas from each other when certain features work. For example, Fortnite introduced the Reboot Van as a direct copy of Apex’s Respawn Beacon.

Warzone is still in its infancy compared to Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Now, there is a feature in both Fortnite and Apex Legends that Warzone players want to bring to Verdansk, and that could be a game-changer.

By now, most of you will judge your drops primarily based on where the first circle is. For example, you might want to drop Quarry, but if the circle is on the southwest side of the map, you can aim for the station or the west promenade instead.

What some players want to see isn’t a first circle marker when they fly – you choose your drop based on where you like to land rather than where the circle stretches out a bit more in the lobby, which also means you have to adapt on the fly. This idea was posed by CIassic_Ghost on Reddit, and here you can see what it means.

This has proven to be a very popular concept with other Warzone players, garnering thousands of upvotes.

That said, there are detractors too, with some players worried about adding too much RNG to the game or ending up with players always falling in the same spots.

It would certainly lead to a more interesting drop, but it remains to be seen if it would work in the long term. Fortnite and Apex Legends clearly have some definitive resistance, so they’re doing something right – maybe Warzone could copy that to help make the game even stronger.
