Warzone’s close-range meta has been dominated by OT 9s, but streamer IceManIsaac has shown an AK-74u loadout that can do some serious damage in Season 5.
Machine guns have always been extremely effective in Warzone at pushing back enemies and cleaning up squads.
The OTs 9 has been the most popular SMG this season and has one of the fastest TTKs at every scope of this weapon class.
However, Warzone streamer and tournament player IceManIsaac has discovered the perfect setup for the AK-74u which is “completely slept”.
IceManIsaac’s AK-74u loadout is better than SMG meta
This is the AK-74u loadout that IceManIsaac uses in Warzone.
As shown in the image above, IceManIsaac shows this deadly loadout for the AK-74u, and we’ve listed the attachments below.
- Muzzle: Gru Suppressor
- Barrel: Working group 10.3 “
- Laser: Spotlight on Team Tiger
- Sub-barrel: Bruiser handle
- Magazine: 40 drumbeats

Taking a look at the TTKs for both weapons, the OTs 9 has a slightly better damato give stats in all but 10-15m – but the big stat comes in damage per mag. AK-74u deals 1815 damage per clip while OTs only deal 1360.
Additionally, this 74u lets you play at a much faster pace than with the 9 or MP5 OTs, making it one of the best supporting SMGs in the game. It shows itself doing 35 kills with this. weapon, but there is more potential for different classes and TrueGameData shows another configuration that you can toggle.
