The Kardashian family is used to being involved in many dramas all the time. However, in February 2019, they even got themselves for a loop when the fraud scandal of the year took place in a very public way.
Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner's long-time best friend, was revealed in a compromise with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend and the father of her young child. Khloe Kardashian is of course the older sister of Kylie Jenner, also a good friend of Woods.
How did the scandal of cheating unfold?
It all began when social media revealed Woods' story in connection with Thompson. Khloe Kardashian herself seemed to confirm the information by commenting on social media. When the news started making headlines around the world, Woods had enough and announced his intention to appear in Jada Pinkett Smith's Facebook video series, "Red Table Talk," to tell his story.
Although Kardashian tweeted to Woods that she should have called him privately to apologize instead of being made public, Woods spoke to Pinkett Smith and told him about the events.
According to Woods, although Thompson kissed her, it was one-sided and nothing had happened. It did not seem that Khloe Kardashian bought it and criticized Woods on social media, calling her a liar – and hundreds of Kardashian fans came forward, expressing their feelings about Woods in an unfriendly way.
It was hard for Jordyn Woods
In the midst of the social media assault, Woods was deliberately cut off from the Kardashian family circle. She was transferred out of Kylie Jenner's palace, where she lived, and all her business ties with the Kardashians were ruthlessly broken, including her partnership with Jenner in the cosmetics field and her modeling appearances for the denim company. Woods remained rather quiet during this transition period, not posting much on social media and not allowing many interviews, aside from the "Red Table Talk" conversation. Although she did not say whether or not she had been particularly intimidated by members of the Kardashian family, she said that "the whole world" had intimidated her.
Woods seems to be back on his feet
Although his emotional state is still tenuous, Woods is doing well after the scandal. A visit to her Instagram page reveals that she is still advertising for several brands, including eyelash extensions and a swimsuit company, no doubt paid.
She also earns money for conferences and interviews. Even though her business dealings in Kardashian have ended, she is still able to make money. For a while, there were even rumors that Woods was planning to launch his own reality show based on the drama of the cheating scandal. Although this television series has not yet materialized, nothing says what the future could bring.
As for her friendship with Kylie Jenner, all hope is not lost. Jenner herself was dumb as to whether or not she would consider reconciling with Woods. Woods recently told paparazzi that she would like to "always" Jenner.
Yet, the new season of The amazing Kardashian family currently airs Sunday night on the E! Network, and some glimpses of upcoming episodes revealed that the family will probably dive into the cheating scandal in future episodes.
These episodes could cause more ill-will between Woods and Jenner, or they could have the opposite effect and bring together the two previously inseparable friends.
