Was not Doria Ragland invited to Meghan Markle's Baby Shower?

Meghan Markle recently spent a few days in New York celebrating her pregnancy with some of her closest friends in the United States. The Duchess's visit was planned but was unknown to the public until she arrived. However, despite most of the people Meghan loved to be there, there was a very important person missing: Doria Ragland. Did Doria choose not to attend the party, or was she not invited?

Meghan and her mother have always been close

Meghan's family has brought a lot of drama to her life since she started dating Prince Harry. But one person who has always stuck to his side is the Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland. Since Meghan was a child, she still had an incredibly close relationship with her mother. Doria has often taught yoga and she is the one who introduced her to Meghan. Meghan draws a lot from what she is from her mother. Meghan also had close relationships with her father, but things have apparently turned into hardships over the years.

Now that Meghan lives in the UK, she does not see her mother too much

Doria was at the center of the wedding of Meghan and Harry. She arrived early for the big day and helped her daughter prepare everything. The queen seemed to love Meghan's mother and invited Doria to have tea with both her and Prince Philip. But since the end of the marriage, Meghan has not seen her mother too often. Between getting ready for the baby's arrival and taking on all the tasks that are required as a king, Meghan's program is very busy.

When Meghan came to New York to celebrate, her mother did not attend the party.

Meghan surprised everyone when she magically appeared in New York last week. The Duchess had taken a vacation to cross the pond and see the American friends that she could not frequent very often. Meghan and her friends all gathered in New York for a baby shower to celebrate the last member of the royal family. Among those who joined the Duchess were Abigal Spencer and Misha Nonoo, who are the former Suit costars. Her best friend, Jessica Mulroney, was also there. Serena Williams and Meghan also took a bite after the shower. However, a woman not present was Meghan's mother.

It is likely that Doria was invited but chose not to attend.

When Doria did not participate in the Meghan vacay in New York, people immediately wondered why her mother would have been missed on this occasion. Some have suggested that Doria may not have been invited, but it is more likely that she chose not to attend. Meghan was taking a shower only with her closest friends and Doria probably thought that Meghan should use her time to catch up with her friends. As Meghan is one of the busiest women in the world, her mother probably knew it would take some time before her daughter saw these girls again. In addition, Doria is supposed to spend some time in England once the baby arrives.

It seems unlikely that Meghan does not invite her mother on such an occasion. Priyanka Chopra did not attend the shower either. We do not know why, but this is another person who was probably on the guest list but did not do it for his own reasons.
