Was PlayStation Plus’ next free game just teased?

[ad_1]

A new rumor has emerged that may give us an idea of what a future addition to PlayStation Plus might end up with. While this is by no means a guarantee that this mentioned title could make its way to PS Plus, it looks like it could at least be made available for free in the future.

In a cryptic new tweet from Nick Baker on Twitter, the 2019 version of Activision and FromSoftware from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice seems to be available soon for free to some users. Although Baker didn’t offer many details, he encouraged those interested to pick up Chopped to possibly delay the purchase of the game “for the next couple of months or so.” Obviously, he seems to have some sort of inside information about the prospects for making the title available for free.

The reason this could be a PlayStation Plus-related tease is because Baker has actually provided credible information in the past about games that were heading to Sony’s service. Before it was officially announced by PlayStation, Baker was one of the first to suggest this Final Fantasy VII remake would be one of the free games joining PS Plus for March. As such, it wouldn’t be surprising if he also had a scoop on what might happen to the service in the months to come.

That being said, Baker could also tease here that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice could come on Xbox Game Pass instead. Baker’s background is actually much more involved with the Xbox brand as he hosts a podcast and helps run a dedicated platform website. With that in mind, it’s hard to say which location Chopped could happen, but all the same, it looks like it could be made available for free at some point in 2021. As usual, however, take all of this with a grain of salt until we potentially hear about it. more at a later date.

So what do you think of this tease? And which avenue do you prefer to see Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice coming to – PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass? Be sure to let me know in the comments or hit me up on Twitter at @ Mooreman12 if you want to chat further.
