Sony released the first trailer for Alan Wake remastered at his PlayStation Showcase on Thursday. I have never played any of the games in the Alan wake series, but I was intrigued by the mysterious and spooky trailer shown at the event.

Play as troubled author Alan Wake, who sets off in desperate search of his missing photographer wife, Alice. The sleepy Pacific Northwest town Bright Falls is not what it seems. A malicious presence lurks in the dark and a horror story Alan doesn’t remember writing comes true.
Fortunately, you won’t have to wait long to be able to play the game on your own – Alan Wake remastered arrives on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series S / X, and the Epic Games Store on PC next month, October 5. The remastered version features 4K visuals and packs in both story expansions, The signal and The writer.
