Watch Apple throwing cake and lots of other things at the iPhone 11 Pro in its new commercials

Apple has released two new commercials for the iPhone 11 Pro, both of which show that the phone resists more abuse than any other phone.

The first advertisement below focuses solely on the supposed resistance of the iPhone 11 Pro against everyday objects thrown at it in a high-speed wind tunnel. First, toys and baby food corrode it (including a whole head of green leaf lettuce), none of which seems heavy enough to damage the phone.

Things get a little more intense later in the ad, with ice cubes and hair bouncers bouncing off the iPhone 11 Pro, all of course without leaving any scratches. To top it all, a wedding cake crumbles on the phone, then a sprinkler washes everything. It may just be me, but at that moment, I think I would be more worried about my dear wedding cake than about the state of my iPhone.

The second advertisement focuses on what the phone's three-lens camera system is capable of achieving, with a sleek, long-haired dog as a subject in a wind chamber.

This announcement informs viewers about the differences between the different lenses of the iPhone 11 Pro (telephoto, standard, ultra wide-angle). But the most remarkable thing is the Night mode. The results of the ad are far more impressive than the demo presented by Apple at its hardware event earlier this week.

The iPhone 11 Pro is available for pre-order now and will be available in stores from September 20th.
