As part of an episode takeover, Broadway's distribution The Cher Show interpreted the opening number of the musical alongside the warrior goddess of real life itself.
The musical, currently taking place at the Neil Simon Theater, recently released its original album on April 12. The cast includes nominees for Tony, Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks, and Micaela Diamond as Cher at various points in her life, including Jarrod Spector as Sonny Bono, Michael Berresse nominated by Bob Mackie, Michael Campayno as as Rob Camilletti, Matthew Hydzik as Gregg Allman and Emily nominated Tony as Georgia Holt.
Cher, along with the three women on Broadway, talked to Jimmy Fallon about the evolution of the musical. as well as Cher's iconic career as the only artist ever to have had a # 1 single on the Billboard charts for six consecutive decades.
