The Arizona Cardinals took the Seattle Seahawks off the field after a third save, but Dr. Kirkpatrick’s after-school activity went horribly wrong for the Cardinals. Kirkpatrick had a scuffle on the field with Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf after a third save on compatriot Tyler Lockett, which led to a disagreement between the two teams where the officials had to break the teams.

Kirkpatrick upset Metcalf enough for the Seahawks wide receiver to attempt to confront him, but Metcalf was held back as the skirmish worsened. Kirkpatrick received a 15-yard penalty for provocation, giving Seattle an automatic first down after the Seahawks were stopped in the third and seventh. Russell Wilson completed a five-yard pass to Tyler Lockett as Isaiah Simmons buckled the receiver before Budda Baker took a second shot. After the game was when the shouting match between Metcalf and Kirkpatrick.

Shortly after, the match was interrupted when both teams stepped out onto the pitch – Metcalf drawing the attention of the cameras even though he was not the recipient of the penalty.

Kirkpatrick’s provocative 15-yard penalty extended the Seahawks’ run and put Seattle on the Arizona 17-yard line. The Seahawks scored a touchdown twice later to take a 23-14 lead in the third quarter. No player has been kicked out of the game.
