In the new teaser for the upcoming third season of HBO’s elite family drama Succession, we see the direct consequences of the press conference in which Kendall (Jeremy Strong) publicly exposed his father as being at the root of the company’s wrongdoing.

The clip arrives as part of a European launch event for HBO Max, along with other preview clips for upcoming series such as the Game Of Thrones spin off Dragon house and the Superhero series directed by John Cena Peacemaker.

With a flurry of flashing cameras, Kendall keeps his cool as he walks towards Path star Royco Offices to accumulate ammunition for the looming corporate war. Karolina (Dagmara Dominczyk) happily walks beside him, with Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) looms behind them, unnecessarily shouting “No comment!” Without comment! “Among journalists.

Kendall, always a little smug and pompous in his efforts, calls his actions a “fucking revolution.”

As part of public relations, Karolina quickly points out that Kendall is in a company car even though he probably no longer works for the company after his explosive actions. Greg pleads his own innocence, claiming he was completely unaware of Kendall’s plan to blame the company’s crimes on Logan Roy (which is presumably untrue).

Sensing Karolina’s apprehension, Kendall presses her, saying he needs a “Clean pot” for his plans to save the company while achieving power.

– It’s a turning point in your life, Karolina. It’s the right vehicle, ”says Kendall.

The third season of Succession pick up well where the second left off, and will follow the Roy family as each tries to claim their own power, while avoiding any legal repercussions. All Roys, along with their enemies, will return to witness the collapse or potential rebirth of the media empire.

Succession premieres on HBO Max Oct. 17.
