Weren’t we all here just a few weeks ago? Hanging out on the Internet while waiting for Apple to show off new material?
Indeed, we were. Apple has already hosted two hardware release events this fall: one for the Apple Watch and iPads, and one for the four new iPhones. Now the company invites all of us to join its leadership at its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. For another big reveal, the third of the season.
We anticipate this week’s event will focus on Mac laptops and desktops. Apple has already announced plans to gradually move its computers from Intel processors to its own custom silicon chips, with the first Apple-core Macs arriving in late 2020. So here we are. We can also expect additional details on (and a release date for) macOS 11 Big Sur, the next version of Apple’s desktop operating system. There’s also a chance we’ll see some of the other long-talked about hardware: new headphones, new Apple TV, AirTags.
Apple’s show-and-tell will be streamed live for free, so everyone can tune in. We should be entitled to pre-recorded segments featuring Apple executives who introduce us to new products and showcase camera functionality. There will be no hearing – just you, your cohabitants and the stack of takeout containers you have accumulated since polling day.

Apple’s presentation will start at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, 10:00 a.m. Pacific Tuesday, November 10. You can stream it here on this page. You can also view the feed on the Apple website, in the Apple TV app, or on the company’s YouTube channel.
