The annual Kentucky Basketball Pro Day was a huge success, with more than 80 NBA staff logging in to virtually spot the 2020-21 Wildcats, and the entire Big Blue nation had the opportunity. to see the team for the first time before the season.
As part of Pro Day, each player on Kentucky’s roster takes tests for their updated specific metrics, which are then distributed to NBA officials, Boy Scouts and the media.
So how did the Wildcats do? What are some of the most remarkable numbers and metrics?

Jonathan Givony from ESPN posted an overview of the measurements and compared the results to other notable NBA players, as well as other agility test results.
Among the strong points:
- BJ Boston (6’6.75 ″, 185 lbs) draws close physical comparisons with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Caris LeVert and Jeremy Lamb
- Added three inches in the past three years
- Terrence Clarke (6’6.75 ″, 194 lbs) makes physical comparisons with Andrew Wiggins and Bogdan Bogdanovic
- 37.5 inch maximum vertical jump and second fastest lane agility time in the UK
- Isaiah Jackson (6’10.50 ″ in shoes) has grown two inches tall and has gained over 20 pounds since summer 2019
- Measurables similar to Nerlens Noel
- 37.5 maximum vertical jump
- Better team agility 10.85 on second lane and 3.21 sprint times over three quarters
- “Historically good speed for a great man on paper.”
- Devin Askew measured ‘as expected’ but clocked a record 2.61 second shuttle time, just ahead of Devin Booker’s time in 2014
- Similar measures to CJ McCollum and Jrue Holiday
- Boston, Clarke, Jackson and Askew have raised the 185-pound mark just three times combined
- Olivier Sarr and Davion Mintz recorded 12 and 14 repetitions respectively
