Rudy Giuliani, the personal defense attorney for President Donald Trump, who is leading the Trump campaign’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, held a bizarre press conference on Thursday that quickly descended into chaos.

At one point, Giuliani’s hair dye could be seen streaming down her face. In another, the former New York mayor cited the comedy film “My Cousin Vinny” to support his arguments.

Much of the press conference consisted of Giuliani mulling over the same conspiracy theories the President amplified: that mail-in ballots are fraudulent, that voting machines have been illegally tampered with, that ballots have been secretly thrown out and that the Democrats orchestrated a vast system of electoral rigging. to simultaneously win the White House and be destroyed in state electoral and legislative races.

Checking the facts: There is no evidence of widespread electoral fraud. This election was among the safest in U.S. history due to the use of paper ballots and voting machines with verifiable paper traces, as well as the efforts of non-partisan election officials and the cybersecurity workers who worked behind the scenes to get the vote.

It’s also worth noting that the Trump campaign and Republican officials haven’t won any of the nearly two dozen court challenges they have filed since the election. Many of the prosecutions involved technical issues that would not affect the overall results.

At one point in the press conference, Giuliani made an impression of the character of Joe Pesci in “My Cousin Vinny” to substantiate the Trump campaign’s claim that Republican election observers were not allowed to properly watch the counting of ballots.

Later in the presser, Giuliani’s hair dye started to flow down her face.

The Trump camp has apparently noticed this as well. Someone leading the official campaign feed could be heard saying, “See Rudy’s hair dye dripping all over his face?”

Giuliani did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
