The bee drama has taken over the internet this year and Friday’s episode of Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon was no exception. Jerry Seinfeld sat down with Fallon to talk about Gen Z’s favorite meme: The Romance of Barry B. Benson and The Florist in Bee movie (2007). Speaking about the dynamic between the two characters, Seinfeld said: “[The subtle sexual aspect] was really unintentional, but after its release I realized that it was really not suitable for children. Because the bee seemed to have a thing for the girl, and we don’t really want to pursue that idea in children’s entertainment. Nevertheless, the internet has seen the absurdity of Bee movie and has created hundreds of memes since its inception in 2007. But memes are next to the bee.

In no Bee movie– related news, every 180 episodes of Seinfeld are now streaming on Netflix. Seinfeld announced in June that he will write and star in Not frosted, a comedy about the invention of Pop-Tarts. The two Bee movie and Seinfeld are currently streaming on Netflix if you want your double dose of Jerry.
