Watch this custom Xbox Series X resurrected from Diablo 2

Microsoft and Blizzard are working together on a special custom edition of the Xbox Series X themed for the Diablo franchise as part of a promotional campaign for the imminent launch of Diablo II: Resurrected.

The custom console is adorned with images familiar to the Diablo series, including a red pentagram on the face of the system. It also sports a menacing-looking devil on the front. The console is not for sale, but you can enter for a chance to win it.

To participate for a chance to win, you must answer this tweet with your “most valuable Diablo possession”, and so far people have listed items like Diablo collectibles, in-game achievements, beer glasses, and other items. The contest runs until midnight PT tonight, September 22.

The Diablo Xbox Series X console is just the latest special edition system that Microsoft has created in partnership with a popular brand. Before that, there was the Shang-Chi Xbox Series X and a Far Cry 6 system, which was also only available through freebies.

Diablo II Resurrected launches September 23 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Blizzard will grow up to promote the game, recently recruiting Simu Liu and Winston Duke for live commercials.

The launch of Diablo II Resurrected comes amid the ongoing lawsuit against Activision Blizzard for sexual harassment and discrimination against women. The publisher also faces an investigation from the SEC, which has submitted subpoenas to management, including CEO Bobby Kotick, calling for disclosure of documents and other details.
