Magic Kingdom has been running various cavalcades since the park reopened in July. Some cavalcades include Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, while others feature Goofy, Max, and Clarabelle. And, a particular float includes the one and only Tinker Bell of Peter Pan!

Well unfortunately this afternoon at Magic Kingdom Tink’s float, which is a giant treasure chest, experienced some technical difficulty and she had to evacuate halfway through. In this first video sent to Inside the Magic, you can see Tinker Bell waiting for the ladder to be installed so she can safely disembark from her float.

In this second video, also sent to Inside the Magic, you can see Tink as she walks carefully and safely down the street with the help of the cast members.

Once Tink was safe on the ground, she made the most of the situation. Although her float broke, that didn’t stop her from continuing to strut the street, waving and smiling at the guests!

We are so happy to see that Tinker Bell is doing well and made the most of the situation! You can usually catch this fairy in Magic Kingdom on her pop-up treasure chest-themed ride, which spawns randomly throughout the day.

This is not the first incident since the start of the new cavalcades in Magic Kingdom. On reopening day at Magic Kingdom, Merida’s horse, which Merida rides during the Disney Princess cavalcade that runs periodically throughout the day, was spooked by a balloon and had to be escorted out of Main Street USA . You can read more about this incident here.

Also, in September, Goofy’s cavalcade unexpectedly stopped at the Sleepy Hollow Bridge between Liberty Square and Main Street USA, that’s when Goofy lost his balance. After a few seconds, guests could see Goofy say goodbye as he descended into the float. You can read more about this incident here.
