Water Balls Thrown on Trump Crowd Arrest Michigan Man

Thousands of people gathered at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan to hear President Trump speak on March 28th. Twenty-year-old Robert Dale Truax Jr. of Grand Rapids and two friends also made their way to the rally. .

"FDT" – the 2016 anti-Trump anthem of rapper YG and the late Nipsey Hussle – was drumming in the background as they traveled to the rally. With the Truax shotgun, he filmed the player.

Shortly after arriving at the arena, Truax threw two balloons of water into the crowd. Then he was quickly arrested.

On Thursday, Truax, who could not be contacted for comment, pleaded guilty to having created a disturbance in a public place, according to WZZM.

"I was throwing water balloons at Trump supporters," he told the district court judge. The offense carries a penalty of 90 days imprisonment and a fine of 500 dollars.

Later, Truax transferred the events of the day to his YouTube page – including the driving, the arrest and his friends who released him – images that will certainly complete his sentence next month.

"It's water balloons, man," he said in a movie.

The local police were not amused.

"The bigger the group, the more dangerous it can be," said the Grand Rapids police sergeant. Cathy Williams told WZZM. "You can hit someone and hurt him, but you can also cause panic in a group."

In an interview with WZZM, Truax said: Sorry, he is not sorry.

"Sorry for getting wet, but you should have a long sleeve to keep a little warm," he said, adding that if he had the opportunity, he would do it again probably. "I would try to get out three water balloons this time," he said.

Truax said he was defending Americans who opposed the president, "just like Malcolm X".

He added, "Actions speak louder than words."
