Wayne Ellington: Draymond Green’s McGruder comments on “Fake Tough Guy Stuff”

The NBA apparently has a lot of tough guys.

After Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green accused Detroit Pistons winger Rodney McGruder of acting like a “badass” following a post-game trade between McGruder and Juan Toscano-Anderson, Wayne Ellington from Detroit replied:

Trash talk is rife in the NBA, but for Green and Thompson to tear McGruder up so publicly and savagely – who averages 2.8 points in five minutes per game (four appearances in total) for the bottom-fed Pistons – felt a little more malicious than most up-and-coming.

Clearly, McGruder said something to Toscano-Anderson the pair couldn’t stand. Either way, it’s made for an entertaining show for the rest of us.
