Maybe you're not on subscription music and you still get your songs on Pandora's many streaming stations. In this case, you can now listen to this music directly via Google's Waze iPhone navigation app. Last year, Waze added an audio player feature incorporating Spotify, NPR One, TuneIn Radio and other services. Pandora says its free and premium levels are now supported on Waze's Android and iOS versions.
"Better yet, this integration goes both ways. Once you have connected Pandora and Waze on your mobile device, you can also see the next step of your Waze navigation directly in the Pandora application, "wrote Pandora in a blog post. This takes the form of a banner at the top of the Pandora application; the company notes that this should only happen when Waze is open and running. It will disappear as soon as it is not the case.
Waze actually announced that it would happen last year – and the integration of Pandora was already live on Android before. But now, it is also available on iOS.
If any of the music applications supported by Waze is compatible with your device, the audio player icon will automatically appear at the top right of the navigation application and the setup procedure is extremely quick. If you have problems, go to the Waze FAQ above.
