The latest update from Waze will provide drivers with more information on how much they should spend on tolls. While Waze has always known where the toll roads are and has allowed drivers to avoid them, the app will now show the actual price of each toll. The update, for iOS and Android, will work in the United States and Canada.
Google, owner of Waze, does not monitor costs, users must report prices in the application. Nevertheless, the idea is clearly to give drivers the ability to avoid tolls while helping them determine if they have enough money to spend. This update follows a previous this summer in which Google has placed Google Assistant and its idle word, "Hey Google" in the Android Waze app. All this means that Google is always paying attention to Waze and the load of new features, instead of giving all the power to Google Maps.
