JANESVILLE, WI – More than 30 people are out of work Friday night after regional shipping and shipping company LME Trucking Services announced that it would close Thursday afternoon.

The workers said that they had little time to get their things and then leave. Since then, none of the company's employees has offered them an answer.
"I have no idea, I have no idea what's going on," Burns said. "I tried to contact some numbers that were given.There is no answer.You go to voicemail.I tried to contact my insurance, and they were warned and they are waiting for a call to find out if we have health insurance. "
Burns said the company now misses its employees 'three weeks' pay for work already done.
Workers were also asked to leave all equipment inside the company's shipping trucks and offices, including some temperature-sensitive items. With a wave of hot weather over the next few days, employees say more than a million dollars worth of products could be destroyed.
Burns said his biggest concern was what would follow for him and his colleagues.
"Either you take a new job and you move, what you do not want to do because your family is here and your friends are there, or you are suffering and you are taking a lower paid job."
