Fortnite revealed that he’s making a great Marvel crossover for Chapter 2, Season 4, which starts in less than a week. We already have half a dozen Marvel skins in the game at this point, but we’re on the verge of at least doubling that with an all-Marvel battle pass it seems.
While we may already know what more than half of the skins are at this point, and nothing substantial has been datamined yet.
Battle Passes have seven skins and an eighth secret skin. Here are five skins that I think we’ll get in the Battle Pass this time around:
Thor – This is the skin that was teased directly by Epic, both in the Marvel ad itself (Thor is the character in the letters, the emojis are clearly a reference to Thor) but previously the Bifrost was seen in the Captain America trailer. This is a guarantee.
Wolverine – This is from HypeX, which disclosed that we have an early Marvel season, and its claws will be a mining tool.
Tall – From HypeX.
Storm – From Tabor Hill:
Iron Man – Donald Mustard changed his Twitter header image to a comic book panel frame featuring Iron Man.
Doctor Doom – The other side of the same cartoon panel frame has Doctor Doom.
Galactus – Some players have had a glimpse of an in-game comic page that contains Thor and Galactus. In the audio files there is a sound that looks like Galactus when you put it in a spectrograph. Galactus is ahead, but it remains to be seen if he could show up for an LTM or event like Thanos, which wasn’t a skin we could buy, or if he’s in the level 100 battle pass or something. like that.
So that’s seven. I would probably bet on another female hero since 6 of those 7 are male. Who else could we see if this is the case? She-Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Kamala Khan, Captain Marvel, Gamora, Jean Gray, Rogue would be my top picks. Probably not Sue Storm as being invisible in a Fortnite game would be a small OP.
What draws my attention to these choices is that they come from all over the Marvel Universe, not just the MCU. Wolverine is essentially on the ice after his Fox films, as is Storm from X-Men. Doctor Doom and Galactus are not in the MCU at this point, although it is rumored that Galactus will be the next Thanos in the upcoming phase. But yeah, it’s pretty wild that Fortnite is where all of these different characters come together first, besides the comics, of course.
Donald Mustard also warns that this is the culmination of something big, that the Marvel storyline has a huge impact on the overall history of Fortnite in general:
So we’ll see how it goes. DC season next time? I wouldn’t be shocked at this rate.
Follow me on Twitter, Youtube and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels Herokiller and Herokiller 2, and read my first series, The Earthborn Trilogy, which is also on audio book.
