A strange Warzone bug surfaced after the Season 5 update Reloaded, allowing players to control vehicles from beyond the grave.
The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update has landed with a bang and introduced many weapon changes and new content for players to enjoy ahead of Vanguard’s release and integration in November.
Despite the addition of fresh and interesting content, like the new Iron Trials mode, there are still a lot of bugs and unexpected side effects circulating in the game – some fun, others much more frustrating.
In another case of unexpected issues, players have found that with incredible timing (and a bit of luck, or bad luck depending on your point of view), they can manipulate vehicles after being shot down by an opponent, resulting in hilarious side effects.
A Warzone fan shared a clip of his encounter with these ghost vehicles on social media and confirmed that they “fell down while the car was stuck, [but] could go [without them] inside.
The footage showed the player messing around in one of Warzone’s tactical rovers, having successfully propped the vehicle into the bed of a Big Bertha truck.
The player then came under fire from a nearby building and was quickly shot. Afterwards, things started to go a bit off what the player expected.
Their character model appeared next to the vehicle they had just occupied. However, the camera got stuck in the car’s point of view, as if the player was still sitting in the vehicle – and it turned out the game seemed to think he was, in fact, still sitting on the vehicle. driver’s seat.

The downed player was still able to drive the car and showed this supernatural ability by leaving his character behind and trying to quickly escape in his new invisible form.
Sadly, they didn’t get very far before the enemy team finished off their downcast character, and the killcam eventually rolled around.
The clip quickly caught the attention of the Warzone community after seeing the player’s hilarious maneuvers firsthand. “What the real f ** k, I would probably be fucking singing myself if that happened [to me]another fan commented.
While the issue is not noted on Raven Software’s Warzone Tracker at the time of writing, they will likely get wind of these incidents soon enough and post a quick fix. Until then, be on the lookout for ghostly vehicles lurking the streets of Verdansk ’84 or Rebirth Island.
