Halsey continues to give more glimpses of their lives – and their bodies – as a new mom. Pop star and partner Alev Aydin hosted Ender Ridley on July 14.

The singer, who uses the pronouns she / they, showed off her stretch marks in a series of snaps posted to Instagram over the weekend. “Well … this is what I look like,” she wrote of their postpartum figure, baring their bellies to reveal the markings as well as a “Baby” tattoo placed just above the pelvis. .

Halsey followers first praised mum for being open to what a postpartum body might look like.

“Proudly wear these tiger stripes, mom !! Love to see it,” one fan wrote.

“Thanks for posting your stretch marks!” another commenter added, while a fan wrote that it was “nice to see a real mom, not someone who explains you have to have a six pack two days after giving birth.”

Halsey’s photo series also offered a glimpse of baby Ender, pictured alone and with daddy Aydin, and the child’s rainbow-themed nursery.

The post comes just days after the 26-year-old posted a breastfeeding photo in honor of World Breastfeeding Week.

They also championed the beauty of pregnant and postpartum bodies for their new album, If I can’t have love I want power, which features the singer posing with an exposed breast on the cover.

“This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth,” she said in a statement.

“It was very important to me that the cover conveys the feeling of my trip over the past few months. The dichotomy of the Virgin and the Whore. The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a recipient and gift to my child are two concepts that can coexist peacefully and powerfully.
