After sharing an excerpt from the documentary film “Wendy Williams: What a Mess!” – set to follow “Wendy Williams: The Movie” premiere this Sunday for life – Williams took a moment to step into the shadows by welcoming Sharina Hudson to her “Hot Topics” segment.
It was the first time she had called her ex-husband’s mistress “Kelvin” by name on her show, and she didn’t stop there.
“Welcome to Hot Topics, Sharina Hudson!” Williams said with as much shadow as possible. Then literally sipping her coffee – or tea as the case may be, she added, “Get out of my car … with my money.”

Much of the documentary chronicles the moment Wendy found herself one of the hottest topics in entertainment as her marriage to Kevin came to an end. Wendy admitted that she was aware of his years of infidelity, and even that he had an affair with Sharina.
For her, however, the final drop was when he impregnated his mistress. As recently as this month, Williams said she still hasn’t met Sharina’s daughter, recounting Entertainment tonight, “I don’t want her to know her.” Plus, while she expects to have to see Kevin in her life, during their 20-year-old son’s graduation ceremony, for example, she expects him not to bring Sharina or their child.
