After last week’s nine-sack embarrassment in Cleveland, analysts and fans alike have scoured Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy for his game plan and the way he handled his rookie quarterback. From a national perspective, some members of the media have claimed his head, and even local reporters have seen their criticism intensify.
SB Nation Reacts asked the 32 NFL fans several questions this week, and here’s what they asked everyone about the Bears.
What can Matt Nagy do for the rest of the season to keep his job?
If this poll question had only hit Bears fan inboxes, I think it would have been a lot more off-balance, as the mood around WCG since Sunday has been bleak.
Here are the answers Reacts voters had to choose with the percentage results.
- Nothing, he is fired no matter what: 50%
- Build the offensive around the fields: 40%
- Play as Andy Dalton or Nick Foles: ten%
Most bookies have Nagy as a favorite to be the first fired head coach this season, and while the Bears have never fired a head coach mid-season, there is a first time for everything.
