What do you want to know about the 2022 Porsche 911 GTS?

Even before I drive it, I can probably tell you that the 992 gen 911 GTS is a pretty good sports car. It will be comfortable and fast and fun and pretty, it’s a given. The GTS is essentially a Carrera S with 30 more horsepower and all the sophisticated options you would like to standardize. This is generally the sweet spot of the Porsche lineup, offering an extra dash sportiness without sacrificing comfort and ease of use on a daily basis.

The 2022 Porsche Carrera GTS puts out 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque from a turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six. It’s not too far from the GT3 figures! If you check the light package radio button, it also loses 55 pounds from a Carrera S, adding a lithium battery and lightweight glass, removing the rear seat, and installing carbon buckets in the front.. Hope this is the one I’m going to drive. It’s faster, but it also increases the braking factor, as it uses the same calipers and rotors as the 911 Turbo.

The GTS package, of course, is available in coupe, convertible and targa body styles with a choice of 7-s.manual or 8 speed peed PDK gearboxes. In coupe and convertible version, you have the choice between RWD or AWD. I will take a propulsion cut with a stick, please and thank you. This model starts the lineup with a base price of $ 138,050 after destination. That’s about 25,000 less than a 992 gen GT3, so if you don’t want to go that crazy this is the car for you.

Since the GTS was introduced with the 997 generation of this car, sort of over a decade ago, this has been a real value proposition, if such. you could say one thing about a 6-figure sports car.
