What does it tell you if the March of Women continues to fall into anti-Semitism?

The Women's March apparently broke ties with three of its founding members – Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and Mari Lynn "Bob" Bland – who have been rightly accused of anti-Semitism and discord. But their replacements are not much better.

Bland, Mallory and Sarsour resigned from the Women's March Board of Directors in July, according to the Washington Postand were replaced by 16 new members, including three Jewish women, a transgender woman and a Native American tribal leader.

Perhaps the council thinks that diversity will help repair the bridges that Mallory, Sarsour and Bland have burned, but a quick look at earlier comments from the new direction of the march shows that the Women's walk still has a long way to go.

Remember that the March of Women has long been accused of being anti-Semitic and rightly so. Here are some examples:

• Bland has already shared an article that seemed to blame "the American Jewish establishment" for the March 15 terrorist attacks in New Zealand that killed more than 50 people.
• Mallory frequently praised Louis Farrakhan, a vitriolic who regularly compares Jews to "termites" and calls them his "enemy." She even attended one of the Farrakhan events in February 2018, during which he called the Jews "satanic". But according to Mallory Farrakhan is "the best of all time because of what he has done in black communities".
• Sarsour is also friends with Farrakhan and is a strong supporter of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, which seeks to undermine the Israeli government by stifling its economy. In 2017, Sarsour called for "jihad" against President Trump.

Without quoting specific examples, such as those listed above, the March for Women has recognized its "mistakes and missteps" of the past, under the old direction. But do they really understand where they were wrong? This does not seem to be the case because they have replaced Sarsour by someone like her:

"Apartheid Israel kills children as a hobby," Billoo wrote on Twitter in 2012. And in 2015, she wrote: "I'm more afraid of the racist Zionists who support Israel against apartheid. that mentally ill youth that #FBI recruits recruit ISIS.

What about Samia Assed? She joins Billoo as a new board member. challenged Israel's right to exist multiple times. "Do you believe in the way Israel exists now?" Wrote Assed on Twitter. less than six months ago. "I'll tell you no. Until now, Israel has never declared its borders and continues to occupy land and deny the human rights of Palestinians. "

Let's not forget Charlene Carruthers, another new board member who is an unconditional fan of Farrakhan.

There are two things that are happening: either the March of Women has stopped completely controlling her leadership, or she is not really afraid of anti-Semitism. Whereas it took the advice years to oust Sarsour, Bland and Mallory, it is safe to assume that the March of Women does not interest him.

So why evict them in the first place? Because the March of Women knew she could not survive with her. The group has experienced a major credibility crisis in recent years, even among the left. Several prominent leftist militant groups have cut ties with the March, including the Southern Poverty Law Center, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign. It's a sinking boat and everyone knows it.

The March of Women assumed she could save her reputation by eliminating "the problem". But Sarsour, Mallory and Bland are not the problem; their antisemitism is rooted.
