Some small business owners avoid a second paycheck protection program loan until their first is canceled entirely, new research shows.
Over half of small business owners have yet to receive the cancellation of their PPP loan from the Small Business Administration, and 13.4% of businesses who said they need a second PPP loan n did not apply for fear that their first might be a new survey of 1,093 small businesses by payroll and benefits provider Gusto.
And while many small businesses have applied for a second P3 loan, they are stuck in limbo – about a third of small businesses eligible for a second loan who have applied have not heard of the approval.
