I have often written on the "Siri Remote" for Apple TV. It is small, slippery and extremely easy to lose in sofa cushions. I do not like it
The iPhone has a remote application that allows you to control your Apple TV, but it also means pick up your iPhone (which, being slippery, is sometimes as lost as my Apple TV remote).
The Apple Watch easily beats these other remote control options. It stays attached to your wrist, which means you can not lose it. Invoking the remote is as easy as clicking the side button to access your Dock and pressing the Remote application that appears – in two quick steps.
The Apple Watch Remote is not equipped with Siri for quick search, but it has everything else: multi-touch control and playback, pause and menu buttons. This is the fastest way I've found to control my Apple TV.
