The nfl recently announced it will team up with social media giant TikTok to deliver the TikTok Tailgate – a unique pre-game experience for “7,500 vaccinated health heroes” ahead of Super Bowl 2021.
In addition to their groundbreaking announcement, the special pre-game event will be headlined by pop sensation Miley Cyrus.
The unprecedented movement in a world affected by the coronavirus has sent shockwaves across all sports and entertainment. The TikTok tailgate will serve as a pre-game gift to the 7,500 guest healthcare workers, all of whom will receive free entry thanks to the NFL.
Additionally, the NFL has announced that an additional 14,500 fans will complete Super Bowl LV participation, for a total of 22,000 fans.

“These dedicated healthcare workers continue to put their lives at risk to serve others, and we owe them our continued gratitude,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in an official announcement. “We hope in a small way that this initiative inspires our country and recognizes these true American heroes. It is also an opportunity to promote the importance of immunization and appropriate health practices, including the wearing of masks in public places.”
Cyrus took to social media to announce her performance, noting that she “couldn’t wait” to perform live for health workers ahead of the big game.

“I’ll be there for TIKTOK TAILGATE! I can’t wait to put on a pre-game pre-game NFL guest of honor show … Health workers from Tampa and across the country!” the 28-year-old star wrote on Instagram to break the news.

Portions of Cyrus’ performance will be televised on the game’s main show on CBS ahead of the big game. The entire show can be watched on the popular video sharing app. In addition, the organization promises that the TikTok Tailgate show will provide a special surprise to the NFL, TikTok celebrities and guests of the musical performance joining the singer.

The TikTok hatchback and Super Bowl 2021 will take place live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay on Sunday, February 7.
