Judging by the history, Apple is preparing to launch its new iPhones in September, which will likely include a new triple-lens camera and the ability to wirelessly charge other devices.
But there are several other features we want to see in new iPhones, some of which involve device software and others that would require changes to its hardware. All of these things have become the norm for Android phones, but still have to go to Apple's iPhone.
It is unlikely that we will see these additions in Apple's 2019 iPhones, if we ever see them at all. Apple is generally slowly engaging with the trends of the smartphone industry and generally does not, unless the value of these features is really convincing. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, whose fate is unfortunate, included scanning the iris before Apple's iPhone X brings the same FaceID face recognition system to september 2017. Apple has added to the interface only common UI features, such as third-party widgets and parameter shortcuts long after they've become commonplace on Android.
Regardless of whether the features below materialize or not in a future iPhone version, these are useful features that could make the iPhone a more tempting switch for Android enthusiasts.
