What to expect in the Fortnite v9.10 update

The update Fortnite v9.10 will take place tomorrow and here is what to expect.

Epic updates Fortnite every week and has announced the date and time of the v9.10 update, which should take place tomorrow, May 22nd. Fortnite Collaboration x Michael Jordan

As with most updates, the MOTD (message of the day) has been updated to indicate what will happen in the next update. However, instead of showing a weapon or an added object, the latter teased the collaboration with Michael Jordan. the description, "Game recognize game".

In addition to the teaser, little information has been published about this collaboration. We do not know how long this event will last. A new LTM mode (limited time mode) can be added for this event with challenges that can give players exclusive rewards, similar to the collaboration of Jon Wick that just ended. If a skin / Michael Jordan outfit is added to the item shop, it will likely be updated in this shop once the time has run out.

We should also see the Triple Threat and Jumpshot skins in the store, which have not been seen for 316 days. It is possible that new basketball skins will be added to the store after the update, but we will have to wait and see if that is the case.

In the v9.01 update, Epic made some changes to the landslides, the main change in the problem being that the landslides are now disabled after the fifth storm phase. This change was implemented because it caused problems in late gaming circles where players were unexpectedly brought back into the storm. Disabling Slipstream after the fifth phase was the best option to solve this problem, but the Sky platforms added this season also use the Slipstream feature to get them up and down.

Many cases have been reported by players who forget that the Slipstream have been disabled and try to use the Slipstream to descend platforms, before sinking into death. Players are not aware that Slipstream does not work on the platforms because they look exactly the same and give players the illusion that Slipstream still works when they have been disabled.

Members of the Fortnite community asked for an indication of when the Slipstream was deactivated. Some have asked for a visual notice to appear when they have been disabled and some have simply requested that Sky platforms change visually to display Slipstreams are no longer in effect.

Eric Williamson, Head of Design at Epic Games, responded to one of Reddit's suggestions: "Thanks for the feedback, we are aware that visual feedback is not ideal when it is off, but that change is desired as quickly as possible. The next plan is to turn off fan blade rotation and give the impression that the purple (shining) part is off. "

Sean Hamilton (aka MrPopoTFS), the community coordinator at Epic Games, responded to another Reddit message that raised concerns about Slipstream being disabled. "Hey, do you want to confirm that we're working on making visual adjustments to make it brighter when they're closed." In the meantime, be careful there!

"Cancel" function of the Fortnite Item Store

There have been many problems in the past where gamers said they accidentally bought a skin in the store while they were watching it. A refund token system is in place at the moment, but since there are only three life payout tokens available, players are asking for a better solution for accidental purchases. Epic announced last season that it would introduce a "Cancel" feature allowing players to pay for items for a limited time. This feature will be added to v9.10 update. UPDATE: The undo function has again been delayed and will not be released in version 9.1, but will update to v9.20, provided that no other problem is detected before the release. DanDaDaDanDan, an engineer at Epic Games, said the reason for the delay was due to a last-minute problem found. "We found a last-minute problem that forced us to upgrade to version 9.20".
