As all those who have heard Brown speak for a second know, Brown went to the University of Alabama. She graduated in communication with magna cum laude in 2017.
The pageant life of Brown
Brown has been competing since the age of 15. She began competing for scholarships, but then began to fall in love.
"My family saw me grow significantly because of my appearance in the peasant," she told Yellowhammer News last year. "It really has me amplified as a person. I've been able to talk to anyone about every aspect of life. "
Although she feels like she's gone from competition, life in the spotlight has not always been easy for Brown. When she entered the Miss Alabama circuit for the first time, she was not ranked in the top 15 for four straight years.
"It was rather discouraging," she said about the time. "People always have an opinion about what you do, what you say, how you walk, how you dress. I was mistaken about what should be the pageantry – I thought my trust in me was through recognition. "
