The Ohio State basketball team traveled to Madison and beat the No.10 Wisconsin Badgers, 74-62. It was a big rebound victory after a game the Buckeyes lost by two to Purdue. One that looked a lot like what it should have been in the payout column.

You don’t have to look too far to understand what a huge win this was. Wisconsin had only lost one home game before entering the contest and had a chance to grab exclusive second-place possession from the Big Ten.

Instead, the state of Ohio took care of business and maintained itself among the top division of the Big Ten and within easy reach of Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Illinois. in a battle for second place.

Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard met with the media after the game to discuss what he saw about his team and the Buckeyes. He was quick to give credit to OSU. If you missed any of his comments, we’ve got them here for you thanks to 247Sports Evan Flood’s YouTube channel.

Watch Gard discuss the difficulty of keeping Ohio State, how the Buckeyes got off to a quick start, Seth Towns, and more.
