Monterey's Car Week, the group of auto events culminating in Pebble Beach's Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, attracts an eclectic group of cars and an equally diverse mix of amateurs. Although Pebble Beach remains the jewel in the crown, another event officially known as Quail, a motor sport rally is a close second, with striking examples of virtually every vintage and type of car imaginable, today and represented.
