Whataburger officially opens its first Nashville-area location this fall

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WTVF) – Whataburger has officially announced plans to open its first location in the Nashville area this fall.

The beloved Texas burger chain is slated to open in Hermitage at 5055 Old Hickory Boulevard and plans to open additional locations in the Nashville area in 2022. The company did not release an exact opening date.

Whataburger

Previously learned NewsChannel 5 Middle Tennessee could have five locations in total: Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Lebanon, Madison, and Hermitage.

Whataburger is now looking to hire more than 200 employees this year, including positions such as restaurant manager, general manager and regional manager. Hiring of team members will begin this summer. Those interested in applying can click here for more information.

The trip to bring Whataburger back to Middle Tennessee has been long overdue since the company closed its Nashville franchises in the 1970s.
