What's next for Peter Dinklage now that he's finished playing Tyrion Lannister?

The end is coming. The last episode of Game of thrones is finally on us. Monday morning, we will finally know who won the war for the iron throne (assuming there is still a throne of iron to win).

Season 8 of The Thrones split the fans – a petition asking HBO to redo the entire season has collected nearly a million signatures – and fans will surely talk for several days of the outcome of the series. But that we love or hate, one thing is certain: the actors in the series will not return to lives – and careers – like those they had before the series.

Many have already completed work on large projects. We will see them soon on big or small screen. This includes Peter Dinklage, who plays the awesome Tyrion Lannister since the premiere of the show in 2011.

Dinklage, 49, has several upcoming films, according to IMDB. Later this year, he will make the voice of Mighty Eagle The movie Angry Birds 2. He also lends his voice as a result of The croods, whose release is scheduled for December 2020.

Dinklage does not just describe animated characters. He is also committed to playing in The thicket, a thriller taking place in West Texas about a boy who hired a bounty hunter named Reginald Jones to find his sister after being kidnapped by a violent murderer. Dinklage will play the role of the bounty hunter in the long-running project, which has been running since 2014.

Another upcoming project is The dwarf, of The machinist director Brad Anderson. Dinklage will play a Machiavellian dwarf whose advice to a medieval prince will bring his kingdom to the brink of ruin. (It seems a little familiar ….)

Dinklage is also attached to Rumpelstiltskin, based on the famous fairy tale of the Grimm brothers. In history, a miller lies to a king and says that his daughter can turn straw into gold. The king asks the miller's daughter to spin for him or lose his life, and an elf appears to help him out of his predicament. But he gets a high price for his assistance.

The actor was also mentioned as a possible star of a movie called O'Lucky Day, where he would play a crook who claims to be a leprechaun. (Earlier in his career, Dinklage's policy was not to play leprechauns or elves, which limited his work opportunities.)

The cinema audience could even see Dinklage in a remake of the 1969 classic Sam Peckinpah Wester The wild group. Mel Gibson, who is on the director's job, wants Michael Fassbender, Jaime Foxx and Dinklage to be the stars.

Dinklage Game of thrones the co-stars also have great things in front of them. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, will play the role of Jean Gray in the last X Men movie, Dark Phoenix, which opens on June 7th.

Maisie Turner (Arya Stark) will play Wolfsbane in The new mutants, another X-Men movie. This film is supposed to be released in August, but has been delayed several times, so fans are skeptical that we will see it this summer.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) will play the role of a police officer at the next Domino. The film also stars Carice Van Houten (Melisandre). It's in theaters on May 31st.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) will play in Above suspicion as an informant and lover of an FBI agent in a small town in Kentucky.

As for Kit Harrington, who played Jon Snow, he seems to pause – he has no plans to come announced.
