Season 9 brought several updates and modifications to the existing Fortnite map. The future is here – so find out what to expect as you enter the battle bus.

Season 9 has finally arrived and brings many map changes. These are the new updated locations for Fortnite Season 9.

Mega Mall

Mega Mall now replaces the "blacktops" area of Retail Row that was destroyed by the volcano. Retail Row was the original "hot drop" for Fortnite players, and it's nice to see that the region has finally been reorganized.

Neo Tilted

Neo Tilted was born from the ashes of Tilted Towers. The layout of the area is roughly the same as that of the old sloping towers with futuristic building designs.

You can now browse the new Neo Tilted with the Slipstreams that surround the map. Be careful because it is quite easy to shoot someone in a Slipstream.

Pressure installation

The pressure plant is now in the remains of the volcano – possibly exploiting the energy of the lava. I guess this new powerhouse will play a part in the plot of the 9th season, but it will have to wait and see.

Booty Lake

Loot Lake is one of the places in Fortnite that experienced some minor changes during Season 9. The buildings have been modernized and trees are beginning to grow around the vault.

Junk Junction

Like Loot Lake, Junk Junction got some modifications with the new season. The old Tilted steeple is now in Junk, in memory of the area lost to the volcanic eruption.

There are some other small changes on the map, such as a Neo Tilted circling airship and floating platforms that shoot you in the air.
