With multi-device compatibility, users will be able to stay connected to WhatsApp even without their phone nearby or when their smartphone is running low on battery. Now according to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is developing an app version for iPad, and “it will be released in a future update.”
The website explains that it will be a native app that will work independently of your iPhone, and those testing the beta of WhatsApp will be able to to use the application on iPad in a future update.
Not only that, but the app just submitted another update to its beta version of TestFlight. With version 2.21.170.12, WhatsApp redesigns contact information on iOS to business contacts. This update will make information about a business account clearer and make it easier to send a message, call or share contact information.
