After weeks of speculation, the date and time are set for the next fortnite event in the game, unofficially the Cattus vs. Doggus event, as various countdowns appear on the map.

Fortnite season 9 comes to an end with an in-game event that should close the season, which could be an epic battle between 'Cattus' and 'Doggus'.

Cattus – a monster circulating around the map, causing the destruction of Polar Peak and Loot Lake – is expected to face Doggus, a huge robot being built at Pressure Plant.

The Cattus monster came out of Polar Peak, leaving a trail of destruction.

After weeks of leaks and other Easter eggs on the map, the date and time were finally set for the demonstration, following various countdowns appearing around the island of the Royal Battle.

We are now able to confirm that the event will take place on July 20th at 3:00 pm EST.

It is more than likely that Epic Games creates or restricts standard playlists, similar to the unreserved event, so that no one misses the experience.

The countdown is now visible to all players.

The countdowns have appeared on each of the scattered sky platforms on the map, perhaps suggesting that players will be forced to watch the battle from above, considering the gigantic size of the robot.

On the other hand, members of the Fortnite community believe that players could play an active role in the destruction of the monster, or even band together to reduce his VPs during the event.

The countdown has appeared on all platforms of the sky.

No matter what Epic has to offer, there is no doubt that most fans will be thrilled by the overwhelming success of events at play, such as Marshmello's concert in Pleasant Park.

An official announcement from Epic is expected in the coming days and, as always, Dexerto will keep you informed on how to watch it for yourself.
