Where are the level lists for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1 month after the release of Sephiroth?

As Final Fantasy games showed, he seems to have a losing game against Cloud

Sephiroth was certainly a surprise choice for just about everyone as the third DLC character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2, but that certainly hasn’t stopped him from being a popular choice and seemingly powerful enough now that he’s on the battlefield.

It might look like yesterday, but the Final Fantasy 7 villain has now been available to play in Smash for exactly a month now, giving us all the perfect opportunity to see how players rank the fighter at the start of the tier lists. .

A closer look at the EventHubs community levels for Smash Ultimate shows that Sephiroth is already off to a good start in the numbers, although it will likely take him longer to progress beyond his 34th place.

While it might not sound too impressive at the moment, the Evil Icon’s matches saw him win the majority, where he is listed as being at least slightly ahead of some strong characters like Wario, Rosalina, and Ness.

Ironically, Cloud is currently being billed as one of Sephiroth’s worst matches, which I can certainly see given that he can make the villain try to pursue him. Otherwise, if he tries to stay behind, Cloud can just load Limit without worry in addition to his superior mobility.

Unfortunately for the cute boy with a long sword, however, he’s also listed as battling many of the strongest characters in the game, and in particular Pikachu, Zero Suit Samus, and Snake. The same goes for fast fighters who can rush him like Sonic, Fox, Joker, and Inkling.

The character who has had the most recent uptrend is actually Min Min, who is turning out to be a bit of a problem in the Japanese scene, meaning she might end up going higher as this year progresses.

Steve from Minecraft can’t say the same, though, as he’s dropped down the ranks pretty quickly where he’s dropped from around 50 in November to 64 now.

Pikachu extended her lead as number one on the tier list above Joker and Peach while Zero Suit Samus looks like she could break the top five in the near future.

You can check out the current tier list rankings for Smash and compare them to what they were after Steve’s release from Minecraft with Sephiroth’s best and worst matches.
